I've been blogging since April, 2004. I forget the exact date, but I still remember how it started. That day I read a novel by Adhitya Mulya , Jomblo, and I noticed a web address written on the book which he called as his blog. Blog? I got a big question mark in my head along with the curiosity. So, after I finished reading the book, I visited his blog. His writing was so funny, so I was compelled to read nearly all of the previous posts. Then I started to click link listed on the blogroll. The first link led me to Enda's blog. An entry entitled ' 8 Sebab Utama Memiliki Weblog ' had made me tempt to create my own blog. I read the next post, ' Panduan Mudah Membuat Blog ', and shortly afterwards I created my very first blog on blogspot. There are many blogger community in Indonesia and I joined Blogger Family . But since I live outside Jakarta and also faraway from other major cities in Indonesia I never attend any blogger event. I was a regular ...

It was not just me as a mother who ever pinched her daughter or son. I was relieved when I read this entry (including the comments). I'm just human who made mistakes sometimes. Not a super mom with infinite patience.

At first I thought this book was about another love story. I needed a light reading after office hours, and didn't want to read anything that force me to think hard. Meet me at the Cupcake Cafe by Jenny Colgan . It's a story about what happen when you pursue your dreams. When you follow your passion of life. Not always a great picture though. It's about Issy Randall, who's made redundant from her safe corporate job, choose to jump into baking business. Well, baking is her passion (and talent). But the business? Imagine about marketing, dealing with local bank manager to get loan, paperworks, rent, employee, you name it. And also a love story. :) An inspirational book. And these lines had slapped me in my face. "... You have talents and skills but I just don't see where they've been used with you running around chasing up expenses and timesheets. It's like you just wanted to hide away doing something safe and a little dull, hoping nobod...

I always feel sad every time I hear news about someone who got divorce. A high school friend, a blogger whom I never met but I read her blog regularly, even if I never knew them in person, like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes's divorce recently. The same question would always pop up in my mind: "Why? What happened with their commitment?" Until recently I concluded that the only answer is... well, people change. Someone might get new insight that lead to new life goals, and the spouse failed to join her new life journey. Someone might get spiritual experience that make her more religious, and the spouse didn't agree with her new perspective. And she might meet someone else who understand her better than the spouse. The world is always changing, so are the people . People always have the choice to stick to their commitments and communicate the changes to their spouse, or to move on to the next journey and leave the spouse behind.

I always love Sophie Kinsella's books, except her famous series, Shopaholic. I just can't stand reading about Becky shops again and again. :p Her recent book, I've Got Your Number , is really entertaining as usual. It's a perfect light reading after the hectic office hour.

kind of missing this blog where I could write everything freely here pour anything comes up in my mind to clear some space in my head well... will find the time,... and urge to write again regularly
